    Job summary
    As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of Financial and Accounting functions of our organization. This role requires a high level of professionalism, strategic thinking, and the ability to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Accounting Control and Compliance

    • Develop and manage a robust accounting control system to ensure all accounting functions comply with accounting principles and government regulations.
    • Ensure adherence to Philippines Financial Reporting Standards and company procedures, maintaining accuracy in all financial information and data.
    • Establish, develop, and continuously improve accounting policies and procedures to enhance workflow and ensure compliance with company rules and regulations.

    2. Financial Planning and Reporting

    • Oversee the planning, organizing, and directing of all aspects of the accounting department, including budget preparation and financial forecasts.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other management analysis reports.
    • Prepare and submit the financial report package (DIVA) to the Head Quarter, ensuring reports are accurate, timely, and comprehensive.

    3. Tax Management and Reporting

    • Handle all tax-related matters, including tax declarations, filings, and issue resolutions. Liaise with internal departments and external parties such as banks, auditors, tax authorities, and government organizations.
    • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and manage tax-related issues efficiently.

    4. Financial Management

    • Oversee cash management functions, including both incoming and outgoing cash flows. Ensure liquidity and financial stability with effective management.
    • Assist management with corporate financial planning and collaborate closely with the Head Quarter to align financial strategies and objectives.

    5. Team Leadership and Development

    • Delegate tasks effectively and oversee day-to-day accounting operation.
    • Lead and manage the accounting department, including coaching and developing the subordinates to enhance performance and professional growth.
    • Monitor accounting activities to ensure adherence to accounting rules and regulations.

    6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Collaborate with other departments within the company and cross-functional teams, including the group company, to support business, accounting process improvements, operational best practices, and initiative projects.

    7. Operational Excellence

    • Support and drive initiatives for accounting process improvement and operational best practices.
    • Perform other special tasks assigned by management as needed.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    • University graduated, major in Accounting/Finance
    • Professional certification, accounting qualifications, and skills are essential, with a preference for CPA certification.
    • Having a certificate of training as required by law.
    • Minimum 15 years experiences in Accounting with minimum 5 years as Accounting manager (Multinational Enterprise, Trading, FMCG company, would be advantage).
    • Excellence English communication
    • Experience in handling tax matters and liaising with tax authorities would be advantageous.
    Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors:
    • Knowledge of Philippines accounting law, Philippines Financial Reporting Standard [PFRS], International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), including tax legislation.
    • Fluent English communication both written and speaking.
    • Familiar with using ERP such as Microsoft Great Plain, SAP etc.
    • Computer literate (Microsoft Office, e-mail).
    • Work well under high pressure and strict deadlines.
    • Strong presentation, communication, inter-personal and reporting skills.
    • Strong negotiation and problem solving skills.
    • Good analytical thinking.
